The process of selection of mahabodh scholars for the year 2018-21 under the anantya scholarship program of mahabodh foundation continues. out of 54 nominations received for the anantya scholarship for 2018-21 from different parts of gaya region, 23 applicants were interviewed on 19 november 2017 at guraru. on 26 november 2017 rest of 31 (out of total 54) applicants from gaya, bodh gaya, cherki and chandauti were interviewed by team consisting of patrons of mahabodh foundation and innerwheel club of gaya city represented by mrs. pratima singh, mrs. kalawati sinha and mrs. sarita verma. all eyes are now set on final interview which will be held on 07 december 2017 at nyingma monestry meeting hall in bodh gaya, in which members of innerwheel club of gaya city will interact with the recommended candidates for the scholarship and the list will be reviewed and vetted by selection committee consisting of

The process of selection of mahabodh scholars for the year 2018-21 under the anantya scholarship program of mahabodh foundation has started. Under the anantya scholarship program, mahabodh foundation grants scholarship to girls from economically challenged families who are first in their families to go for high school studies.
The scholarship amount is upto rs. 2500 per month for day scholars and up to Rs. 5000 pm for boarding schools for four years of high school education.
This year a total of 54 nominations have been received for the anantya scholarship for 2018-21 from different parts of gaya region.

visited guraru center and interviewed 23 applicants from that area. A lot of enthusiasm were seen among villagers, applicants and parents of applicants. Since 19 november was sunday, regular computer classes for mahabodh scholars were also held. Also organised was the free clinic. Sharing some potographs.
MahaBodh Foundation celebrated its third Foundation Day on 15 August 2017 at the Birla Dharamsala, Bodh Gaya. Ms. Jyoti Sharma, a team member of MahaBodh and computer science student at UMass Boston welcomed the guests.
Shrimati Geeta Kumari, former District Chairman of the Inner Wheel, RI District-326 was the Chief Guest and Dr. Sangita Sharan, President of Inner-Wheel Club of Gaya City was the Guest of Honour. Several other dignitaries, members of innerwheel club, chiefs of NGOs and social leaders were also present.
In his message the Chairman of Mahabodh Foundation, Mr. Anupam Kumar recognized the foundations’ 56 scholarship recipients, and reemphasized the need for them to complete their education, and motivated their parents to continue supporting their daughter’s efforts. Ms. Geeta Kumari lauded the efforts of MahaBodh in educating the girls and gave away trophies and certificates to the 12 winners of the annual 2017 MahaCure Hindi Nibandh Pratyogita. The topic for this year Hindi Essay Competition was 'Paryavarn Pradushan Se Beemariyan Bharpur, Paryavaran Ki Raksha Se Kar Sakte Door'. The Nibandh Pratyogita was participated in by more than 80 students The members of MahaBodh Foundation also remembered their mentors, late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, late Ambassador Surinder Malik, and held a minute of silence in their honour.
